“I worked for seven years before I went back to school. I took a few accounting classes and discovered that I had a knack for it. I went to school year-round for four years to earn my two degrees. I really like that I learn something new every day, the feeling of completing complex projects, and all the people I work with now.”
Justin is a supervisor in WBL’s Tax department. Since joining the firm in 2012, he has worked closely with clients in the software, technology and real estate industries and with nonprofit independent schools, foundations and associations. Justin prepares individual, corporate, estate, trust and partnership returns and is the firm’s resident expert on nonprofit tax forms.
Justin is not your typical accountant. His sense of humor and fun attitude make him popular with his clients. When he was growing up in Cartersville, he played football and was on the wrestling team in high school. Most people don’t know that he also acted and sang in musicals and chorus in high school. When he’s not working with clients, Justin is always up for a game of racquetball or attending college football games – his dream is to see Michigan beat Ohio State in the Big House in Ann Arbor – but is just as happy relaxing around the house. Justin lives in Atlanta with his cat Penny.
