Berthelot is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 16 years of public
accounting experience serving individuals, businesses, tax-exempt
organizations, and high-net-worth clients. He specializes in tax compliance,
planning, and advisory services, with extensive expertise in federal and
multi-state taxation.
Throughout his career, Matthew has held progressive leadership roles from Tax Manager to Partner, advising clients across the real estate, professional services, government, and nonprofit sectors. He is known for delivering practical tax solutions, building strong client relationships, and mentoring accounting professionals. Matthew earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Nicholls State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and is a licensed CPA in Louisiana and Tennessee.
He is a member of the AICPA and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
