Assurance Services Partner Patricia A. Yeager, CPA, retired from Williams Benator & Libby, LLP (WBL) at the end of December 2020. Patricia joined the firm in 1989 and became a partner in 2000. During her tenure, she led the assurances services department and served as the director of the firm’s nonprofit practice.
“Patricia set a high bar for quality work and exemplary client service in our assurance services department,” said WBL Managing Partner Bruce V. Benator. “She always made sure our clients were properly cared for and was responsive to their service needs. Over the years she has been known for her empathy when staff encountered challenges and for giving them the opportunities and support they needed to succeed.”
During her busy years with WBL, Patricia was also involved with Vistage, the Georgia Center for Nonprofits and the Georgia Independent School Association. She also served as treasurer and chairman of the audit committee of the Atlanta Chamber Players Board of Directors.
In retirement, Patricia plans to spend more time with her husband, get back to playing the piano regularly, cook, exercise and continue her work with the Atlanta Chamber Players Board. When it is healthy and safe to do so, she also looks forward to traveling again.
“I am excited to start this new chapter in life and to having time to try new things,” Patricia said. “It is bittersweet, though, because serving and assisting clients has given me tremendous satisfaction. It is hard to say goodbye, but I know they are in good, capable hands. Working with the clients, staff and partners at Williams Benator & Libby has been an incredible experience that I will always treasure.”
